from the Mayor
I thank you, the residents of Millerton, for giving me the privilege of serving as your Mayor. We, the Village Board, believe in a partnership with our community. The Village Board is committed to a proactive outlook on our community and to providing a continuous improvement of the quality of life. We are currently working with the Town of North East on a joint water main project which will improve our water distribution system, as well as completing the project to install water meters in all residences. Upgrading our water system and exploring the feasibility of a wastewater treatment system remain a high priority for this Village Board. We are also exploring sidewalk improvement opportunities through grants. We believe in encouraging the community to respect, teach and communicate with each other. I am proud of our progress and I continue to invite your ideas, information and thoughts concerning our beautiful Village. Any suggestions as to how we can better serve you are welcomed.
